Most frequent questions and answers about virtual reality

Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed into and able to interact with 3D worlds.

To book a VR session at VirtualZone you can use our online booking tool, or reach out via our contact page. You can also book on our Facebook page or by calling the shop directly.

Booking a Virtual Reality event or Birthday Party rental is easy but must be done in advance.

Just check out our VitualZone events, then select your party style and date. The rest is simple!

Walk-ins are always welcome. If you want to ensure your time will be available, we do recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends and during school breaks.

Birthday parties and group events require advance booking.

It depends on the VR experience you’d like to have. Our walk-in booths can be played for as little as 15 minutes for $8.00/session (+ tax). View our full pricing list for more information.

Like anything, VR is not for everyone. If you have a medical condition that makes VR unsafe for you, you should not use our equipment for a VR experience. However, watching friends play on our viewing screens is also tons of fun.

All guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. For the best experience we do recommend users be at least 7 years of age. Those 6 and under can use the equipment with assistance from an adult, although the headset may feel heavy and they would be limited in game selection due to technical abilities.

Caregivers are expected to help young children navigate the games they wish to play. Our staff will be available for assistance and game selection.

Our game library is constantly changing to bring the most up-to-date content to our guests. Browse our current game library for a complete list of available games.
Yes, you can. Because a number of factors determine which games are added to our library, we can’t promise your requested game will make the cut. We review every request and make every effort to add each game.
